At Everyone Psychology, we want to change the conversation. 💚💛
Thanks to rigorous scientific research, thousands of published and peer-reviewed studies, data driven analyses, and evidence-based treatments for a range of health initiatives, here’s what we know:
We know that ‘mental health’ is just health; your brain is inside your body.
We know that you can save AU$9,000-$23,000 by engaging in psychological support (counselling or coaching).
We know that the cost of doing nothing, can be far higher than psychology session fees.

Benefits of early intervention
We know that when people seek advice in the early stages of stress, it can prevent serious harm.
We know that untreated anxiety can lead to ‘self-medicating’, which can escalate to life-threatening abuse of alcohol and other substances.
At a community and business level, we know that improving understanding of early warning signs through psycho-education and (mental) health literacy, can change lives and prevent serious harm.
We know that early intervention: reduces treatment length, reduces treatment intensity, reduces wider impact (e.g. losing income, ending relationships, missing education), reduces probability of relapsing, and reduces the probability of other serious future harm.
We know that if you change nothing, nothing changes.
That’s why we say:
“You don’t have to feel unwell or be struggling to benefit from professional advice. Psychology is for everyone!”

A check-up with a doctor protects you against high blood pressure, cancer, or diabetes. A check-up with a dentist protects you against root canals, oral cancer, and gum disease (which can damage your heart and cause a stroke). Not to mention all the excellent general daily health habits that a doctor or dentist can show you: those general daily habits will give you the best chance at a full, long, quality life.
A check-up with a psychologist is no different. Investing your time with a psychologist can protect you against stress, anxiety, or depression, career problems, abusive relationships, poor parenting approaches, work difficulties, couples and family dysfunction, poor emotional regulation (including anger management), expensive executive/entrepreneur mistakes, or substance abuse.

That’s why we say:
If you regularly check up on your health with your doctor or dentist, why not check up on your health with a psychologist?

It’s never too late
If you missed out on changing things early, don’t give up!
If you are: struggling to care, drinking a beer or wine every evening, dreading getting out of bed (or the ‘Sunday scaries’), feeling that life is too hard, desperate for this feeling to end, or not sure what the point is anymore… PLEASE don’t wait, please talk to someone right now. 💚💛

“Invest in yourself. If you change nothing, nothing changes.”

About our Principal Psychologist
Seeing a psychologist can be daunting, even if you’ve tried it before. So, I’ll do everything I can to help make it easier for you to take that first step to better health. Life throws us challenges that we aren’t prepared for, because life gives the exam before the lesson. Whatever you’re going through, it’s perfectly normal to need help discovering how you got lost, or deciding where you want to go, and how to get there. My motto is ‘if you change nothing, nothing changes’. If you want to make a difference in your life, I can guide you until you feel ready to continue without me. The tools and strategies I can show you, will last a lifetime!
Andi’s therapeutic approach is non-diagnostic. She incorporates psycho-education and science-based practices to achieve comprehensive outcomes. A session with Andi may include; life coaching, psycho-education, conditioning and graded exposure, trauma re-processing, emotional diffusion and acceptance, challenging negative thought patterns, identifying negative core beliefs, skills training, assertiveness, goal-setting, compassionate or motivational interviewing, grief counselling, and autonomic system arousal reduction techniques. You can rest assured that Andi is an LGBTIQ+ Ally, Red Umbrella Ally, and offers a gender-affirming, ENM, and neuro-affirming space for clients.
