Testimonials and Reviews

If you have questions or feedback, we’re always happy to hear from you, and we’ll keep it strictly confidential!

Nothing goes online without permission. We can’t show reviews or testimonials online if they include ‘clinical’ content.

What is a testimonial?

The National Law does not allow the use of testimonials or purported testimonials to advertise regulated health services. AHPRA advertising rules define a testimonial as recommendations or positive statements about the clinical aspects of a regulated health service, such as personal experiences or success stories – clinical aspects include, symptoms, diagnosis, treatment, or outcomes.

Not all reviews or positive comments made about a regulated health service are considered testimonials. Review comments that are NOT about clinical aspects (e.g. comments about customer service or communication style) are NOT considered testimonials.

Testimonials are prohibited because:

  • they are often personal opinions and may have no objective basis
  • outcomes experienced by one person do not necessarily reflect the outcome, or likely outcome, for others
  • can be misleading as they aren’t usually a balanced source of information and/or
  • the public may not have the expert knowledge to assess if the information is accurate.

If you have seen a company that employs health service professionals (e.g. doctor, dentist, nurse, optometrist, psychologist) using testimonials, please report them to AHPRA.

Rating: 5 out of 5.

Want to recommend a health service like ours? You can tell your friends, family, and your other health providers, like your GP. You can shout it from rooftops or do a dance about it, and we would appreciate it! Many small businesses need word of mouth to stay open, and we are one of them.

If you want us to share your review here, and it doesn’t include any ‘clinical’ information, we would love to do that!
